Welcome back!!

First up I want to thank Jamie Coughlan for letting me guest DJ at the opening of his new night, Bump & Hustle. The Elbow Room in Shoreditch is a great venue and the turn out and support for his first night there was spot on. Hopefully now the ball is rolling this will shape up to be a regular calendar feature for those of you that are in the London area. The next date for this will be Saturday 14th March. Following on from two simply fantastic guest mixes from Sasha Gonzo and Bold Soul Brother, It’s time for something special from The Hook & Sling fold.

After an extended hiatus from these pages, The Popcorn King returns with a long overdue brand spanking new mix for you. His previous mixes can be found HERE and HERE.

He was recently lucky enough to head over to the U.S.A for a week long digging trip at the legendary River Records in Memphis, Tennessee (I’m not jealous honestly!) Today’s selection is comprised mostly from the finds from that recent trip, and also a few other gems pulled from his endless crates.
